All the glamour of the 1940's combined with the drama of the casting couch!
BACKGROUND
The year is 1939 and ‘Gone With the Wind’ has recently been released. The film was a worldwide success and rival motion picture companies are now in the process of masterminding their own blockbuster epics. One such company, ‘Pacific Studios’, has a screenplay from the well-known writer, Sheikh Speer, and have been casting the film in preparation for shooting.
The Murder
The director of the film is Lou Czar and the studio is holding a glitzy extravaganza in the ballroom, at the Beverly Hills Hotel to announce the major roles. Later in the evening after the cast has been announced, the director is found dead in his room. He has been shot through the back. A small handgun with the initials L.C. is lying on the floor beside him. Six suspects have emerged.
