This musical murder mystery is set on a High Country Sheep Station somewhere in the outback, the year is 1945 and the Knoe Family is celebrating V.J. Day by holding a ball for the local community. The long lost daughter has recently returned causing much friction amongst the family. She is the murder victim at the ball. The 'strange' twins had been acting particularly strange. The Station Owner had hit the bottle again. Major Cadd had lived up to his reputation and was Lieutenant Toogood too good? This theme works very well with rural audiences and urban dwellers. Costume theme can be either war uniforms or for a 1940's ball.
